Good afternoon –

It has been a busy week with celebrations and graduations at Joel Barlow High School, Helen Keller Middle School and Samuel Staples Elementary School. Congratulations to all the graduates, their families and the teachers and administrators that make it all happen.  

We would also like to congratulate Jackson Hicks, Lincoln LaMastro, Paul Lupo and Abraham Wegener on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. It is quite an accomplishment and you should be very proud!

Easton Public Library's Summer Reading Adventure begins on Friday, June 16th. To register and log books, go to the Library's website and click either the "Adult Summer Reading" button or the "Kids/Teens Summer Reading" button. All summer, the Library will be offering programs for all ages. These include a town-wide outdoor movie, Easton Geocaching, Grab & Go Crafts, a Big Summer Read for adults, and more!  

The first concert on the hill at Christ Church will be held on June 18th with the annual Juneteenth celebration.  The concert on June 25th will be a celebration of pride month.  Gates open at 5:30pm. Food trucks, ice cream, beer and wine, BYOB picnics, leashed dogs welcome. $10 adults/$7 seniors/kids free.

Participants of the Easton Senior Tax Relief Program, your documentation is ready for pick up in the Assessor’s Office Monday thru Friday between 9am - 12pm & 2:30pm - 4pm.

A reminder form the Town Clerk’s Office that June is Dog License month. Information can be found at https://www.eastonct.gov/town-clerk/news/june-is-dog-license-month-1.

Town Offices will be closed on Monday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.
