Good afternoon,
Covid is unfortunately making a comeback. Hospitalizations are growing. However, we have all gotten used to putting Covid at the back of our minds. I would urge you to get your booster shots, and at your discretion think about whether in some situations wearing a mask might be a good idea.
We recently conducted an audit of our utility payments and waste removal payments with an outside cost analysis firm. They checked our contracts and reviewed our payments looking for inconsistencies and overpayments etc. They were impressed with our procedures and monitoring which is particularly significant because in 90% of their engagements, they do find overpayments.

he new Ambulance (radio call sign 851) went into service on Thursday, January 12, 2023. According to EMS chief Jon Arnold, “This ambulance has been in the works for 3 years and we have received separate installments in our budget over the last 3 years to purchase. It is part of our 10-year replacement plan (although it went a little into 13 years of service). It replaced our 2009 that had 88,000 miles on it and during its life, ran over 3,500 emergency calls. There was much help from our membership designing this truck and I would like to particularly thank Assistant Chief Adam Goldstein, Assistant Chief Stephen Brunetti and Full time EMT Josh Meszaros. We would also like to extend our thanks to the Board of Selectman, Board of Finance and the residents of the Town of Easton for supporting this project that allows us to continue to bring quality care to anyone in need in our community.”
ESCI Consulting will present their findings regarding our emergency services at a joint Special Meeting of the Board of Selectmen and Board of Finance to be held on Tuesday, January 17 at 7:30 at the Senior Center. This is a working meeting and the public is welcome to attend in person or via zoom but this is not a public hearing and there will not be public comment at this time.

Sport Stacking (Gr. 3 and up)

An amazing sport of fitness, agility, concentration, quickness and fun! Sport stacking (also known as cup stacking or speed stacking), helps students develop bilateral coordination, or equal performance on both sides of the body. Join us for a demonstration and lesson. Registration is required.
