DID YOU KNOW?... Invasive Plants

Invasive plants are non-native plants that cause, or are likely to cause, economic or environmental harm or harm to human health. These types of invasive plants can crowd out the native plants and change the way plants, animals, soil, and water interact with the natural ecosystem. It is up to all of us to help rid our environment from these invaders and help our ecosystem thrive. Here is a handy quick-guide from the Pollinator Pathway initiative to identify and control some common invaders in your own backyard so you can help! More information about the Easton Pollinator Pathway can be found at the Easton Pollinator Pathway website (https://www.eastongardenclubofct.org/easton-pollinator-pathway.)
