For voting assistance for Service members and thier famiies and overseas citizens, visit FVAP.gov. The recommended August 1 deadline to register and request absentee ballots is near. Registering and requesting an absentee ballot with the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) by August 1 is the best way for voters to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible. Check Connecticut's submission guidelines.
Using the FPCA allows Service members, their families, and overseas citizens to:
1. Receive their blank ballot electronically.
2. Use the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB) as a backup ballot, if needed.
