An Important Message from the Registrar of Voters

NOTICE RE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY
AND EARLY VOTING

This is a reminder that the Presidential Preference Primary on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 will be preceded by four days of Early Voting.  Specifically, Tue, Wed, Thurs and Sat, March 26, 27, 28 and 30, 2024.  Voting will take place in the Community Room of the Easton Public Library, each day from 10:00 am to 6:00pm.  To be eligible for voting in any primary, you have to be a registered voter in the specific political party. Changing your affiliation from one major party to another comes with a three month waiting period, the deadline of which for this primary has come and gone. 

Unaffiliated voters who want to vote during the early voting period before a primary may do so if their enrollment application to change to a major party is filed with the registrar of voters by noon on the business day immediately before the day when early voting begins.

Individuals who are not registered but want to register and enroll in a political party and then vote during early voting before a primary, may do so if their voter registration application is filed with the registrar of voters by noon on the business day immediately before the day when they want to vote.

In addition, there will be an in-person enrollment session for the Presidential Preference Primary on Fri, March 15 between 12:00 noon and 2:00pm, at Town Hall.
