2024 Presidential Primary Important Information

NOTICE RE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY

Please note that the Presidential Preference Primary is set for April 2, 2024.   Anybody already enrolled in a major party and wishes to change his/her affiliation from one major party to another must do so by Tuesday, January 2, 2024. 
Such change can be made online, at: https://voterregistration.ct.gov/OLVR/welcome.do

The mail-in and online deadline for new voters and for unaffiliated voters to enroll in a party is March 15, 2024. 
For new voters the mail-in application must be postmarked or received by the Registrar of Voters by this date.
For unaffiliated voters the mail-in application must be received (not only postmarked) by the Registrar of Voters by this deadline.    

Early Voting will take place on Tue, Wed, Thurs and Sat, March 26, 27, 28 and 30, 2024, from 10am to 6pm.  Location to be noticed at a later date.

In person enrollment deadline for new voters and unaffiliated voters enrolling in a party, in person at Town Hall, for voting in the primary, is Monday, April 1, 2024.
