Free Workshop 2/9/2019: On-Farm Food Safety - Assess where you stand vs. new guidelines

FREE Workshop: On-Farm Food Safety - Assess where you stand vs. new guidelines

NW CT Food Hub and Family Farmed are offering a FREE workshop designed to help you sort through where you stand on the key food safety measures, and develop your own high priority check list so you are prepared for new guidelines. This is an interactive, hands on approach to reviewing the practices at your farm and what you need to be considering moving forward. You will be surprised at how much you are already doing that fits within the guidelines - and also surprised at some unexpected, but solvable, issues that may exist on your farm.

Leading this workshop is Atina Diffley, nationally recognized leader in this field who has worked with more the 14,000 farmers in 43 states as the Family Farmed lead trainer. She is co-author of Wholesale Success, Direct Market Success and On-Farm Food Safety binder. Visit her website for valuable farmer resources at atinadiffley.com
