Subject: Public Notice: Upcoming Chip Sealing Schedule for Town Roads

EASTON, CT — The Easton Public Works Department has announced that its annual chip-sealing program is scheduled to begin late next week, weather permitting.

The infrastructure maintenance will take place on the following town roads:

  • Beers Road
  • Center Road (from Route 136 to Route 58)
  • Southfield Road
  • Wilson Road

What to Expect: While the department will make every effort to minimize disruptions, residents and motorists traveling through these areas should anticipate delays of up to 15 minutes.

Resident & Motorist Guidelines:

  • Drive with Caution: Please reduce speeds and drive slowly through work zones. Loose gravel will be present until the street sweeping process is completed.
  • On-Street Parking Restrictions: To ensure the efficiency and quality of the application, no on-street parking is permitted until the entire process is complete.
  • The Public Works Department appreciates the community's patience, cooperation, and understanding as we work to maintain and improve Easton's roadways.
