Absentee Ballots Available for November 8, 2022 State Election Available Today Friday October 7, 2022

On November 8, 2022 Electors will cast their votes for: Governor and Lieutenant Governor, United States Senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Representative, Secretary of the State, Treasurer, Comptroller, Attorney General, Judge of Probate, and Register of Voters.
 

There will also be 1 question on the ballot. "Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to permit the General Assembly to provide for early voting?"

Process to request an absentee ballot [two-step process: (1) application and (2) ballot available]:
1. Print, Complete and Sign the Absentee Ballot Application and return to the Town Clerk's Office. You can also request a Ballot using the new Connecticut Online Absentee Request Portal
2..Ballot will be prepared for you and either issued to you in person or mailed to you.
3. Once you have your completed ballot, you may...
- Mail to the Town Clerk’s Office (225 Center Road, Easton, CT 06612)
- Deposit the ballot in the Official Drop Box
- Deliver In-Person to the Town Clerk's office we are open Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

*We now have 2 Voting Districts in Easton the 112th & 135th. All Voter's will still Vote in 1 polling place- Samuel Staples Elementary School 515 Morehouse Road.

Currently, the 112th District includes Monroe and part of Newtown, but the reconfigured entity consists of Monroe and a portion of Trumbull and Easton. This redistricting means that over 3,500 residents from Easton will no longer be part of the 135th District, and Newtown will make up the entire 106th District.
The redrawn House District boundaries will take effect in legislative elections this November. Consequently, Easton residents “moving” to the 112th District will only be able to vote for legislators running for office in that district—and not in the 135th. Easton will then have two state representatives when legislators get sworn in on Jan. 4, 2023. Until that time, the town will continue to be represented by the House and Senate legislators currently in office.
