Update: November 16, 2020

Important Payment Instructions

The Tax Collector’s office is open by appointment only and will accept payments in the following ways:

Taxpayers can view and pay their tax bill(s) online through the following link. Payment is accepted via credit and debit card using Master card, VISA, Discover, and American Express, with a vendor processing fee of 2.95%. OR, you may pay via E-check for a $.95 vendor fee using your checking account and routing number. If clearance for motor vehicles is needed within two business days of payment, taxpayers would need to pay with a credit or debit card and let us know by calling our office at 203-268-6291, or emailing both kkot@eastonct.gov and lkrohne@eastonct.gov , as release is not automatic. Online payments using checking account information require five days’ wait.

Payments can also be dropped in the blue box in the lobby of the police department, located at 700 Morehouse Road. Alternately, you may mail your payment to: PO Box 96, Easton, CT 06612. Checks should be made payable to the Easton Tax Collector. If you prefer to pay in person, you must call for an appointment, enter the building through the front door (Center Road), and pay at the window. Please remember that face masks are required, and anyone not wearing a mask will not be allowed into the building.

Please note that the due date for motor vehicle supplemental bills and the second installment of real estate and personal property is Friday, January 1, 2021. Please note that our office is closed on that day. There is a 30-day grace period so the last day to pay is Monday, February 1, 2021.
