Curbside Pickup for the Easton Public Library (Updated 5/19/2020)

View Curbside Pickup Information.

Curbside pickup for Easton residents begins on Wednesday, May 20. This service will be available Monday through Friday from 10am-5pm. Patrons may request up to ten items. Most Library staff members will continue to work from home, with a skeleton crew working in the building to fulfill patrons' requests.

Patrons will be able to call the Library at 203-261-0134 or email a request to: eplnews@eastonlibrary.org

When the materials are ready, a staff member will notify the patron and assign a time slot for the pickup. Materials will be placed in paper bags, labeled by last name. The bags will be placed on tables in front of the Library. Only one person at a time should approach the tables to pick up their materials. All patrons picking up curbside materials must wear a mask and must be asymptomatic, and also follow social distancing guidelines.

The outside book drop will also reopen on May 20. Patrons are asked to wipe down their materials before returning them. Please make sure there is only one person at the book drop at all times. and maintain a distance of six feet or more. Any fines accrued during this time will be forgiven, and the Library Board of Trustees has adopted a new policy to eliminate fines, on a trial basis, from now until December 31. The fines policy will be reassessed at that time. Patrons will still be responsible for the replacement cost of lost or damaged books.

We are also relaunching our Library to Go service for at-risk populations. For more information, go to http://www.eastonlibrary.org/library-to-go
