At this time, due to the J&J vaccine pause, we will not be performing a clinic at Easton on 4/16/21 at the library. We are making efforts to accommodate with other vaccine options, but this will be held at the WWHD clinic on 180 bayberry ln in Westport. Those that have appointments will this morning will be getting an email this morning with instructions and details.

Update 4/5/2021... Easton Location Available
Attention Easton residents, a vaccine clinic is scheduled for April 16, 2021 from 9-12 at the Easton Public Library. Slots will be available on a first come first serve basis through VAMS. You can enroll here for VAMS: https://dphsubmissions.ct.gov/OnlineVaccine/

4/12 at the Westport Weston Health District 9-4
4/19 at the Westport Senior center from 9-12 and 1-4
4/21/21 Westport Senior Center 1-4
4/28/21 Westport Senior Center 8 -12:30

**COVID VACCINE UPDATE**
April 5th, 2021
As of April 1st, all individuals 16 years of age and older who live, work, or attend school in Connecticut are eligible to sign-up for vaccinations.
Please note that currently only the Pfizer vaccine has received emergency approval for administration to children ages 16 and 17.

Ways to register for a vaccine appointment:
To view a statewide list and map of COVID-19 vaccine clinics, go to www.211ct.org/vaccineclinics, enter your zip code or town in the location box on the right and press the yellow search icon. Eligible residents should use the resources currently available to schedule vaccines and remain patient if delays occur. Please do not wait for availability specifically with WWHD.  Currently, appointments can be made utilizing the following tools:

  • VAMS online system: VAMS is the Vaccine Administration Management System and can be used to schedule appointments at multiple clinics across the state. To make an appointment using this system, click here.
  • Call Connecticut’s COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment Assist Line: Connecticut’s COVID-19 vaccine appointment assist line is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week. To make an appointment, call 877-918-2224.

Updated Travel Guidance:  As of March 19th, Governor Lamont’s Executive Order regarding travel is no longer in effect.  Connecticut residents and travelers should follow travel-related guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Connecticut Department of Public Health (CT DPH).  Mandates and requirements are not currently in place in Connecticut. CTALERT: Beginning 3/1/2021, Connecticut residents aged 55-64 can make appointments to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at more than 130 sites statewide. 

The Next Phase of Connecticut’s COVID Vaccine Rollout Begins on March 1st. 
The next phase of eligibility for the COVID vaccine begins in Connecticut on March 1st. All Connecticut residents and people who work in Connecticut and are 55 years of age or older will be eligible for the vaccine. Frontline educators and child care providers will be also be eligible and will be scheduled for appointments through their employers. This includes Pre-K-12 teachers, paraprofessionals, custodial staff, food service providers, school bus drivers, and child care providers as well as in-school administrative staff (but does not include individuals who are not required to work on-site in a school).

The public directory of vaccine clinics is available at United Way 211 of Connecticut www.211ct.org/vaccineclinics. All vaccine clinics require an appointment to be made in advance. When viewing the directory of vaccine clinics, click on ‘More Details’ for specific information about how you can schedule an appointment at each location.

Those eligible to receive the vaccine who are unable to self-schedule an appointment due to lack of internet access or access to technology, a disability or a language barrier can call the COVID Vaccine Appointment Assist Line at 877-918-2224. The Assist Line is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

UPDATE 2/11/2021...
Beginning February 11, 2021, Connecticut residents age 65 and older are now eligible to sign up to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Please see the link below that enables you to upload your information into the Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS) which is the online enrollment system you will use to register for vaccination.

Please note that EACH individual MUST have his or her own unique email address to be entered into VAMS. No duplicate emails can be used. If you do not have email, please have a family member help you obtain an email address so you are able to sign-up in VAMS. Each individual will receive an email from CDC.GOV/VAMS which will allow you to make an appointment to receive the vaccine. Numerous locations for vaccination are available; please choose a location most convenient for you.
