Absentee Ballots For The August 9, 2022 Primaries Will Be Available Tuesday July 19, 2022

On August 9, 2022, two party primaries will be held in Easton as follows:The Democratic Party will hold a Primary for the offices of Secretary of the State and Treasurer. The Republican Party will hold a Primary for the offices of United States Senator, Congressional District #4 and Secretary of the State. Only Electors enrolled in one of the parties holding a Primary are allowed to Vote. Voting will be held at Samuel Staples Elementary School, 515 Morehouse Road, Easton,CT from 6:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.Absentee ballots will be available from the Town Clerk starting Tuesday, July 19, 2022. see below for details.

Apply for an Absentee Ballot for the Primaries

Absentee balloting is available for those individuals who cannot vote in person for one of the following reasons:

  • My active service in the Armed Forces of the United States
  • My absence from the town
  • Sickness
  • Physical disability
  • My religious tenets which forbid secular activity on the day of the election, primary or referendum
  • My duties as a primary, election or referendum official at a polling place other than my own during all of the hours of voting

An applicant must complete an Application for Absentee Ballot first before receiving a Ballot .Print your  Absentee Ballot Application

By Mail
In-Person at the Town Clerk’s Office Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 (Closed 1:00-2:00)
Deposit in  the Official Drop Box (located across the street from the Easton Police Department) Available 24 Hours.
