Absentee Ballot and Voting Information

Process to request an absentee ballot [two-step process: (1) application and (2) ballot available]:
1. Print, Complete and Sign the Absentee Ballot Application The original signed and completed application (digital signatures are not accepted) must be returned to the Town Clerk's office by mail or in person in order to receive an absentee ballot and for your ballot to be counted.

You can now request an Absentee Ballot online by using the Connecticut Online Absentee Ballot Request Portal

Absentee Ballot Application Deadlines
-In Person Received
1 day before Election Day
-By Mail Received 1 day before Election Day, but  we recommend applying at least 7 days before Election Day.

2. Application may be *Mailed, Deposited in the Official Drop Box (located across the street from the Easton Police Department) OR In-Person to the Town Clerk’s Office. 
3. Ballot will be prepared for you and issued to you or *mailed to you. *We cannot mail out ballots for Referendums being held with less than 3 weeks notice.
4. Once you have your completed ballot, you may...
- Mail to the Town Clerk’s Office (225 Center Road, Easton, CT 06612)
- Deposit the ballot in the Official Drop Box
- Deliver In-Person to the Town Clerk's office 
Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) Update

Other Absentee Ballot Applications: 
AB Application Form ED-3R for Referendum (with less than 3 weeks' notice)
Since this referendum is being held with less than 3 weeks notice, absentee ballots cannot be mailed by the Town Clerk.
