Driveway Permits
No person shall construct or cause to be constructed, locate or relocate and/or re-surface an existing driveway unless the Public Works Department issues a "Driveway Permit". A fee in the amount of Twenty-five Dollars ($25) for any new or any reconstruction or re-surfacing of an existing driveway. A Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollar ($2,500) bond (cash or check) is required for any new residential construction of a driveway apron.
Road Opening and Drainage Work Permits
A "Road Opening Permit" is required for all excavation on public property. This includes either work in the road or on the Town’s right-of-way. A bond is required and the bond amount depends on the extent of the work.
